1897 60th Birthday of the Empress Dowager 1897 60th Birthday of the Empress Dowager "Mollendorf" set of 9 printed in Shanghai on thicker unwatermarked paper in fine mint condition with original gum, the 2ca value with small tone, otherwise very fine. Mr. Mollendorf was serving as the head of the Statistical Department of the Imperial Chinese Customs and ordered this set to be printed in 1897 as presents to be given to high government and foreign officials and to staff members in the Customs and Customs Postal services.
