1916 1d Colour trial Proof in Chestnut and Carmine-Pink perf 14, affixed to a standard size envelope. The proof is very fine, the envelope has a couple of minor filing holes at left from where it was affixed in a record book. One of 3 Proofs on envelopes, submitted by Cooke, the others with Greyish and the approved Black vignette. The approved colour envelope was endorsed 1916 1d Colour trial Proof in Chestnut and Carmine-Pink perf 14, affixed to a standard size envelope. The proof is very fine, the envelope has a couple of minor filing holes at left from where it was affixed in a record book. One of 3 Proofs on envelopes, submitted by Cooke, the others with Greyish and the approved Black vignette. The approved colour envelope was endorsed "Three Proofs of bi-coloured stamps submitted for approval J.B.C 15/3/16". Ex De La Rue archives, Tom Belknap, Peter Troy when it sold for $6,700.00 and Tim Rybak when it sold for $9,775.00. 1971 RPSL certificate signed by Sir John Wilson. An attractive and unique item.

1925 Huts set cancelled to order with Rabaul 8 Ap 25 CDS postmarks, additionally handstamped Colonias in Blue, by the Portuguese postal authorities in Lisbon and affixed on Postal Archive piece. Excludes the 1½d Orange-Vermillion, which wasn't issued until 1926.
