Life membership badges are exceedingly rare, awarded to members with 50 years continuous membership or could be purchased for a fee that ranged upwards of £100. Images on thick backing board. Martin Anderson (Cynicus), was born in Leuchars Fife in 1854 and produced humourous cartoons, later reproduced as postcards. The Cynicus Publishing Company was incorporated in Tayport in 1902. Backing boards with some soiling and one with tear, otherwise images in vg condition.
