1930 Commercial cover franked with 2d Red KGV tied by a fine example of the B.A.N.Z 1930-31 Penguin Pictorial cancellation, addressed to South Australia, together with letter sent by T. Harvey Johnston, the biologist of the Expedition on B.A.N.Z 1929-30 S.Y. "Discovery" letterhead, describing the voyage, weather and that they were likely to meet a whaling factory vessel in a few days that will transport letters to Australia. More desirable than the more commonly seen philatelic covers.
